DEC Campground Ambassador Program

This is an exciting opportunity for people passionate about the outdoors to help introduce new campers to DEC facilities and other outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Ambassadors will also aid in maintaining DEC's existing customer base by connecting campers and day users to nature via environmentally-themed activities and programming.

Applications accepted until January 1, 2020.

New York State Parks – Camper Assistance Program

The Camper Assistance Program (CAP) offers seasoned campers a chance to share their expertise and love of the outdoors with other people throughout the campground. Volunteers serve in a variety of ways such as welcoming patrons, familiarizing campers with park programs and regulations, and assisting with recreation and nature programming.
