Campgrounds with Showers
Campers often want campsites with showers. It’s understandable. Not all of us have RVs with showers, and not too many of us feel comfortable camping for more than a couple of days without a good rinse off.
The good news is that many campsites on ReserveAmerica have showers for campers. Below are a few such sites - see if one is near you!

1. Harris Beach State Park, Oregon
With its campsite located just a quarter of a mile from the Pacific Ocean, Harris Beach State Park is a go-to destination year-round. The campground has hot showers and semi-private sites, some with vegetative visual barriers and plenty of sheltering trees. There is a picnic area and playground too. There are 155 sites, including six yurts.
2. Black Rock Park, Texas
Black Rock Park is a great destination for the whole family. Visitors of all ages can get in a round of mini golf, swim in a shallow cove, or fish from the sandy shore. The campsite features toilets, showers, a dump station, and an ice machine. There are 32 RV campsites and 18 colorful waterfront cabins with electricity, outside water spigots, heat and A/C, ceiling fans, and a grill.
3. Raccoon Creek State Park, Pennsylvania
Raccoon Creek State Park is one of the largest, and arguably most beautiful parks, in the state of Pennsylvania. Facilities at the park were first developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and more modern facilities have been added over time, including showers. There are large recreational areas for hiking, biking, and more, as well as vast tracts of undeveloped land to explore. There are 196 campsites, including eleven modern cabins, all near Raccoon Lake.

4. Green Valley State Park, Iowa
The big draw of Green Valley State Park is its proximity to lucrative fishing spots. The park serves as a base camp for anglers casting their lines into four area lakes - Three Mile, Twelve Mile, Summit Lake, and Green Valley Lake - all of which are located within 10 miles of each other. In Green Valley Lake, adjacent to the park, anglers can try for largemouth bass, crappies, bluegill, walleyes, and channel catfish. There are also several miles of multi-use trails that offer scenic views and wildlife viewing opportunities. There are 93 campsites, including three camper cabins, and modern showers.
5. Fort Yargo State Park, Georgia
Conveniently located between Atlanta and Athens, Fort Yargo State Park is a popular park for outdoor recreation, scenery, and event facilities. The site features a log fort built in 1792 by settlers for protection against Creek and Cherokee Indians. There’s a large lake that boasts a wide swimming beach, ample fishing opportunities, and ramps for boaters.
Fort Yargo State Park is also a beautiful backdrop for reunions, weddings, and other celebrations. Event facility options include group shelters and lake-view pavilions. Overnight guests have lots of camping opportunities, including fully-equipped cottages, yurts, and campsites. Restrooms and showers are available for guests.

6. Elk City State Park, Kansas
Elk City State Park is characterized by iconic plains scenery. Dense oak and hickory woodlands are interspersed among rolling meadows of big bluestem and Indian grass. Elk City Reservoir is a great spot for nabbing channel catfish, flathead catfish, white bass, and crappie. The wildlife area adjacent to the park provides nature-lovers with plenty of room to explore the landscape.
The park’s campgrounds are well-shaded, with restrooms and showers located nearby. There’s also a swimming beach, group shelters, fishing piers, exercise trails, disc golf, an 18-hold golf course, a kids’ fishing pond, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, and a boat ramp.
7. Kodachrome Basin State Park, Utah
This stunning park was named after its vibrantly chromatic rock formations. The park has 67 monolithic spires, called sedimentary pipes, which accentuate the multi-hued sandstone layers formed over 180 million years of geologic time. The park is a peaceful desert landscape of quiet and distinct beauty. Visitors can hike, ride horses, or mountain bike the trail network. Nearby are outstanding natural landmarks, such as Grosvenor Arch (an intricate double arch formation), Bryce Canyon National Park, and Paria Canyon. There are 71 campsites, including two bunkhouses, with modern facilities, such as hot showers and flushing toilets.
8. Sea Rim State Park, Texas
At the far southeast corner of Texas lies a remote and unique coastal park. Sea Rim State Park has 5.2 miles of Gulf shoreline and 4,000 acres of marshlands. Bird-lovers flock to Sea Rim for its many species of birds, thanks to the protected wetlands. The park is also a fantastic place to beach comb, paddle in a canoe or kayak, swim, fish, hunt (in season), and stroll the Gambusia Nature Trail Boardwalk, which takes you through the marsh. There are 17 campsites, including one cabin, and modern amenities, including showers.
